Sound familiar?

Maybe you’ve been asking yourselves…

“Why do we keep having the same fight?”

“I don’t feel like my partner really understands me.”

“We love each other, but we don’t feel close anymore.”

“I don’t know if I can trust my partner again.”

“Sometimes I wonder if we’re still right for each other.”

Relationship patterns

Caught in the same painful cycle

You may love each other and still have the same argument every time. One of you pushes for more — more talking, more reassurance — while the other goes quiet or gets defensive. The harder one of you tries to be heard, the more criticized the other feels, and you both end up alone in it.

Or maybe you don’t fight much at all. You manage work and family well enough, but the closeness has thinned out. Conversations stay practical, and affection isn’t what it was.

Sometimes there’s a deeper injury underneath: a betrayal, broken trust, resentment that built up over years. The care may still be there, even as you wonder how you got here and whether this can work.

Working together

What working together is like

In our sessions, we’ll slow down the conversations that keep ending in frustration and look beneath the anger, criticism, withdrawal, or silence. I’ll help each of you express what’s difficult to put into words and better understand what your partner is experiencing.

We’ll also make room for concerns such as emotional distance, broken trust, or the feeling that you’ve become more like roommates than partners. Together, we’ll explore what has made it difficult to reach each other and find new ways to respond.

My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), while also drawing from IFS, ACT, and CBT when helpful to your relationship.

If this feels like the right place to begin, I’d love to hear from you.
